How Do E-Cigarettes Work?

For people who are just learning about electronic smoking devices, also known as e-cigs, e-cigarettes, and vapor cigs, it may seem a bit confusing as to how they work. It simulates a cigarette, produces vapor that looks like smoke, somehow tastes like tobacco, you puff on it to get the nicotine, and the thing looks like a cig but is anything but… how in the world?

Well it is actually quite simple, but if you’ve only been exposed to traditional tobacco smokes thus far, here is a little explanation on the basic mechanics behind our award winning design. There are quite a few styles and models of e-cigarettes out there, but ours is a simple blend of high technology and the right equipment, resulting in a model that pleases customers who want their experience to be as close to a cigarette as possible.

To know how South Beach Smoke electronic cigarettes work, you need to understand the basic components. Our e-cig is a “2 part” design, consisting of the lithium-ion battery and the cartridge, inside of which is an atomizer. The cartridges are replaceable, and they come pre-filled with a nicotine solution. The e-cigarette battery is the “brain” of the e-cig, and it contains a “smart chip”┬áThe cartridge connects to the battery by screwing it on, and the battery, which is activated by the user. When the user puffs on the device, it turns on, and the smart chip cues the atomizer to instantly kick into gear. The atomizer then receives a charge of power, produces heat and vaporizes the liquid nicotine solution to the user, who then inhales.

All the while externally, the battery’s end is equipped with a light on the crystal end. When the user puffs on it, it then lights up to show that it is in use. When the user stops puffing, it automatically shuts off. There are two different sizes, and two different colors our batteries come in, as well as two different switch options for operating: Manual, which requires you to press a button when you use it, and Automatic which works by simply puffing and not pressing anything.

So there you have it: a nice, brief little explanation on how e-cigarettes work. Hope it offers some insight or makes it more clear!
